Save it to your pantry and the pantry page flags it if it turns up in an FDA recall we import.
It adds up, line by line.
Every product starts at 96. Flags, the brand's transparency grade and any recall linked to this product take points away. Nothing else moves the number, and no brand can pay to move it.

3 flagged ingredients.
Avoid first. Each flag costs points in the score above; where a flag has an entry behind it, it links to the evidence.
Animal fat
Rendered fat from unnamed species, and the ingredient where BHA most often hides.
Natural flavor
An undisclosed blend. Not harmful per se, but it hides what your pet is actually tasting.
Menadione (vitamin K3)
A synthetic vitamin K linked to liver stress in high doses; safer natural forms exist.

Panel Score 75 out of 100, grade B: Good, check the flagsIndependent testing & contaminants
No independent testing on file.
Third-party lab findings for things that never appear on an ingredient label. This is separate from the score above and does not change it.
We haven't found published third-party lab results (PFAS, heavy metals, phthalates) for this product. That is not a clean bill of health, just an absence of data.

- Oct 24, 2026 Panel Score 75 → 79: removed “Unnamed animal ingredients”. “Unnamed animal ingredients” was a flag of our own for lines that don't say which animal they come from. We retired it on October 24, 2026 for the entries our library has for those lines, each counted once. The only line behind it was “Animal fat preserved with mixed-tocopherols”, which already carried Animal fat, so the line was being counted twice.
- Oct 4, 2026 Panel Score 79 → 75: added a caution for Menadione (vitamin K3). The panel lists “menadione sodium bisulfite complex” inside its vitamin line. Until October 4, 2026 we read that whole line as a vitamin premix, so the record was not carrying the flag.
- Sep 21, 2026 Panel Score 83 → 79: added a caution for Animal fat. The printed panel lists it and our record was not carrying the flag.
