The short version: we collect almost nothing, we share nothing, and we'd like to keep it that way. Effective July 2026.
If you use the contact form, we receive your message and your email address, and we keep them so we can reply. That is the only thing we collect. Recall alerts aren't open yet, so nothing on this site is taking sign-ups. When alerts do open, this page will say so before a single address is stored, and what we'd keep is the address and the list of products you asked us to watch.
Your pantry list lives in your own browser's storage until you attach an email to it. Reading scores, recalls, and everything else on this site requires no account and sends us nothing.
Emails get exactly two kinds of messages: recall alerts you asked for, and replies to messages you sent us. Contact messages go to the research team and stay internal.
We never sell, rent, or share your email or your product list. We don't run ads, ad trackers, or third-party analytics that profile you. We don't send marketing. A recall alert service only works if you trust the sender, and we intend to keep it that way.
Every alert email includes a one-click unsubscribe. If you want your email and watch list deleted entirely, write to [email protected] and it's done within a week, no questions, no retention tricks.
This policy is short because the data we hold is short. If anything here is unclear, ask us: [email protected].
