The panel lists DMDM hydantoin, a preservative that releases small amounts of formaldehyde. Our library rates it a caution, with the other preservatives in shampoos; the record carried a stronger flag of its own for the same line.
- Sep 22, 2026 “Artificial colors” is now “Added color”. The score did not change. The panel says only “Colorant” and names no synthetic dye.
