Save it to your pantry and the pantry page flags it if it turns up in an FDA recall we import.
It adds up, line by line.
Every product starts at 96. Flags, the brand's transparency grade and any recall linked to this product take points away. Nothing else moves the number, and no brand can pay to move it.

2 flagged ingredients.
Avoid first. Each flag costs points in the score above; where a flag has an entry behind it, it links to the evidence.
Chamomile
An herb ASPCA's poison control lists as toxic to dogs and cats (vomiting, diarrhea, skin reactions); we flag it where a pet eats or swallows it.
Natural flavor
An undisclosed blend. Not harmful per se, but it hides what your pet is actually tasting.
Every ingredient, top to bottom.

The brand behind it.
Pet Honesty
Graded from the 1 product of theirs in this catalogue, not from an audit of the company.
Not enough to grade: we hold 1 panel of theirs, and it is clean, but a clean panel or two says nothing about the rest of the range. The C grade takes 5 points off this product's score.

Panel Score 87 out of 100, grade B: Good, check the flagsIndependent testing & contaminants
No independent testing on file.
Third-party lab findings for things that never appear on an ingredient label. This is separate from the score above and does not change it.
We haven't found published third-party lab results (PFAS, heavy metals, phthalates) for this product. That is not a clean bill of health, just an absence of data.

- Oct 25, 2026 Panel Score 87 → 83: added a caution for Chamomile. The panel lists “Chamomile”. The ASPCA's Animal Poison Control Center lists chamomile as toxic to dogs and cats, so since October 25, 2026 chamomile reads as a caution of its own in anything a pet eats or swallows. We used to file it with turmeric, as a neutral spice.
- Oct 16, 2026 Renamed from “Pet Honesty Calming Health Supplement For Cats” to “Pet Honesty Dual Texture Calming Supplement for Cats (Chicken Flavor)”, and moved from Treats & Chews to Health & Pharmacy. The score did not change and the web address did not change. We replaced the panel Open Pet Food Facts volunteers transcribed with the ingredient list on Pet Honesty's own product page, and took the name from the same page. It is a supplement, so it belongs in Health & Pharmacy.
