Almonds and peanuts are not toxic to dogs, though they are high in fat and hard to digest in quantity. Two real warnings that matter more than the nut itself: macadamia nuts are toxic to dogs, and some human peanut butters contain xylitol, which is lethal. Check any peanut butter you feed from your own pantry.
